Very good service and Breakfast. This is our weekend breakfast place. Love the omelettes.
Pretty good. Omelettes are properly cooked. Staff is nice and it's very clean and well organized.
The breakfast I had here was actually very good. The mini waffle and omelette I had was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and homey feeling. My only problem is that our service was slow and sometimes non-existent. I will give this place another try in the future to see if the service I received was just a fluke or a norm. In the end, I would say that I recommend giving this restaurant a try.
Was a nice atmosphere with acceptable service. Food was very good, especially the eggs. Asked for over medium and got over medium. Thats almost unheard of at major breakfast places. Will be coming back for sure.
NOOOOO Seasoning! Not even salt and pepper! Worst breakfast ever!!!! But service was a 10!!!!
Okay food, but prices are all over the place. The drinks are not worth the price. Very small glasses.
Nothing was good. The coffee was watery the omelette was terrible and they used rubbery canned mushrooms they didn't crumble the feta cheese into it, so just every now and then you'd get a big hunk of feta which is overpowering because it's a strong cheese. The omelette actually didn't even look anything like an omelette. Pancakes were the best thing and those were still just mediocre. Our waiter was rude when I said I couldn't eat the omelette because it was gross.
Dang I love this place. Huge portions of delicious food, all for a great price. I like the potato bowls, but everything is great 👌🏻😍🍳🍩☕️🍴
Great breakfast, German Skillet and mini waffle!
I always come here with friends and its always a nice experience. They seem to care about your business and try their best to provide a good experience for paying customers which is something that cant be said for everywhere
I ordered from uber with no issues. I called at 7:40 to ask if they could add ketchup to the bag. A lady answered and I said I had an Uber order and before I could say anything else, she said “no one can do those until 8” AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME! I called back and said did you just hang up on me? And she said YES. I’ve said all I have to say, no one is here until 8 and I’m trying to run a restaurant. I told her how rude that was and ended the call AND SHE CANCELLED MY ORDER WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!! I wouldn’t have all minded waiting until 8, I just wanted ketchup!Never. Again. NEVER AGAIN.
Food was pretty good, but the hostess and server rude beyond Belief! I asked for a booth and was told that the next server up didn't have a booth in her section 😐. If you have 6 booths available and empty, and your customers ask you for a booth? Guess where you had better be seating me? And yes, I have worked in service, I understand the rotation of staff tables. But that is not done at the expense of your customers. Their sign on the door says that they are hiring experienced servers asap. I suggest that they might consider getting a bit more aggressive in that department. Before their front of house behaviors can't be overcome by the back of house cooking skills.
Quaint, and super close to downtown. A little expensive for breakfast, but the food is definitely good. 2 meals and 1 drink was $25. Very friendly service! Used to be "Sisters" for those that have been in the Indy area awhile.
This is one of those places where locals come & customers generally know first names of other customers & waitresses. When people know first names you know you going to get good service because there are repeat customers coming back regularly because a good experience is the expectation & the norm.If your looking for a good meal @ a great price, and great service then stop by Christina's
A great local place to grab breakfast or lunch. Many of the servers and staff have been here for 15 + years. Everyone knows how to get the job done and bring great food at a fair price. Deserts are on point and there is a small meeting room. Good cross section of people in the crossroads of America. Great place for a quick work lunch or weekend brunch. The Greek Omelet is wonderful. Clean restrooms.
Food was pretty good. Server had way to many tables (not her fault)so service side was a little rough. Place is clean and friendly. We will try it again.
The biscuits and gravy are just amazing. I was just in town for the weekend, but this place made a real impression. Pretty clean, decent service, and very hearty servings of classic choices of comfort foods. Do you want to be called "Honey" by someone who reminds you of your Grandmother? You want some biscuits and gravy that enables you to feel your arteries actively clogging? Look no further!
It was a great breakfast. Definitely will come back.
Always good food and friendly service.
Friendly staff, good old coffee shop food. This place does not pretend to be anything it is not. I appreciated that their food was not over-salted, too many places are sodium happy these days. Pretty good eats, and I enjoyed being there.
Love this place!! Gooooood food. Service is great.
We ordered less food and paid more. My friend ordered 2 eggs, side of sausage, and side of bacon plus a drink. I ordered 3 eggs and a side of bacon as well as a drink. Before the tip, our total was just under $30! We could have had nice steak dinners with a salad, side, and rolls for that price. Two eggs are $4.89, but one egg is about $1.35. The cost for two eggs should be no more than double one egg (about $2.70)! My friend and I have been meeting there about once a year for several years when I amin town. We will no longer eat there. The cost is ridiculous!
Everything was pretty decent, staff was okay. There was no wow factor though, just your average breakfast spot. Not too expensive, good portions.
We love this place. The staff kind of are pushy but I'd 8magone they just been doing this a long time.. ended up with something I didn't really want but my husband ate it
The coffee is awful. It literally taste water with a hint of coffee. Not I like it dark but I can tell it is cheep coffee. They need to straight that up and step up the game. Let’s see how the breakfast is gonna be.
Food is always good and service is great. I highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our breakfast here this morning. Huge omelettes for a good price, nice selection. Biscuits and gravy were ok, light on the sausage, biscuits were not very fluffy. Nice fresh fruit
Solid breakfast spot. Usually no wait unless you show up after 9:30am on Sundays. Very wide selection of food, including veggie options and classics like biscuits and gravy. The best choice for solid American breakfast south of Broad Ripple.
For some reason the hostess sat me at a table with no utensils and several rings of condensation from beer pitchers and glasses when there was a perfectly ready table right next to it.If they had fruit flavored syrups I would give them a fourth star. The standard pancake syrup pretty much ruined my strawberry pancakes.
This place isn't ready to handle Sunday brunch. Chicken and waffles meant get a waffle then wait 10 min for the chicken. Also, why does french toast arrive before regular toast on the same order? Food was decent, but service was terrible
Today was our first time visiting. We both ordered breakfast. The server was excellent. The restaurant wasn't horribly busy but our food took more than 20 minutes to come out. It was hot and fresh though so whatever was happening in the kitchen that affected the speed of the food didn't affect the quality. My only wish would be for better tasting coffee.
Great food and service with a great variety of food. I'll be back to try some more!
Food was great service was good too !
CLOSED! Stopped by there on June 8 (2020) They have pulled the name of the signs and off the building. As I was looking in the window, the owner came out. They are remodeling and rebranding to make it a Greek restaurant. So it will no longer be a breakfast place.
Always good food from a traditional American menu with a few surprises added to the mix. Friendly, helpful service from familiar faces. Both clean and charming.
Awesome breakfast! My skillet and pancakes were both perfectly cooked and ready very quickly. Great service as well. If I lived in Indy I would be a regular!
Friendly service. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Good food. Excellent french fries. Fresh squeezed lemonade is refreshing. 2 thumbs up!!
Good place to get pancakes I'll always I'll go back there again
Those that know me know that have a high standard when I comes to food service. So when I came upon Christina's Pancake house located in the Bates-Hendricks area of Indianapolis, Indiana I excepted a mediocre experience but I got Brenda as my waitress. Service: Brenda was engaging, funny and attentive and she was this way with all of her guest. She was honest and inviting. If you do happen upon Christina's Pancake house request Brenda. You will be well taken care of. Food: The food was great. I got the #2 combo which has two eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, home fries and 2 pancakes. The pancakes reminded me of the cake that's found in Strawberry shortcake. Delicious. I also got hot chocolate. I've been craving it since I got back to Indianapolis. Area: The restaurant was clean. I didn't got to the bathroom so can't speak to that. All in all good experience. I recommend a visit.
Extensive menu, generous portions and awesome service.
We haven't been in Indy long, and this was one of the first recommended restaurants on our list. The service was excellent, and our food came out promptly. I saw the eggs Benedict on the menu and was skeptical at first. But boy was I surprised by how good it was! That hollindaise sauce was some of the best I've ever had. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the English muffin was crispy. My only complaint is the potatoes were a bit overcooked. Still, the overall value for the quality of food was terrific. We will be back!
Because the manager told me that the booths were not open but when other people came in they got a booth right away if they were on reserve should have taken the time to say that very unprofessional
With steep competition in downtown Indianapolis for breakfast this place holds its own. Would I saw its the best? No. The lack of flavor coming from there biscuits and gravy is disappointing. However it is very inexpensive and recently remodeled. Which adds another star. Will I be back? Probably.
Mary Jo is the best server I've ever had. Hands down.
There were 3 of us today for breakfast. 2 of us had biscuits and gravy, orange juice, and coffee. The coffee was the only thing that we could even say was okay! The OJ immediately tasted very watered down. We mentioned this to our waitress, and she said she wouldn't charge us for it. The biscuits were small and spongy, and the gravy had no flavor. At check out, the cashier asked how everything was and we told her, and she said "well, come back tomorrow and I'll be doing the cooking." It's not likely we will go back a second time.
This place was very average. Average service, average food, average atmosphere. There is nothing about the place that makes it stand out. But, my coffee was kept full, so I rate it 3 stars.
Great food and friendly staff.. definitely recommend the banana bread French toast!! So good!
Warm and charming place, special and staffing and great food
Food is great! Service is good.
